First place award and ribbons for first through sixth place. AA, JR/YR classes will have separate placings if there are 3 or more AA and 3 or more JR/YR riders scheduled to ride. If not picked up at the show, unclaimed class ribbons/awards will be returned to the club inventory.

Show High Score Awards

NOTE: High score awards will NOT be offered at the October 2025 Benefit show

DHD & CT Daily High Scores may be awarded at each show at four levels (Intro, Training, First, Second, & Above) for two rider divisions (Open and AA/JR/YR). Musical Freestyle and Dressage Seat Equitation scores do not count for daily high score awards. A score over 55.000% is required for a Daily High Score award. A high score category must have 2 eligible horse/rider combinations for the high score to be awarded. Shows may be Jockey Club TIP approved and in this case the overall high score TIP registered horse and rider combination will also be awarded.

For the purpose of High Score Awards, the following equivalencies apply:

DHD Rewards Program

The DHD Rewards program allows Dancing Horse Dressage & CT members to earn financial rewards to attend clinics and other educational events. The program has been set up as follows:

  • Dancing Horse Dressage & CT membership is required.

  • Volunteer service for DHD&CT club benefit is required. Four (4) volunteer hours are required to obtain one (1) DHD Reward.

  • Hours accrue during the current membership year and unused hours expire at the end of that membership year.

  • Hours used for Rewards will NOT be deducted from the volunteer’s total.

  • Volunteer hours donated to another individual for the purpose of Year End Awards may still be redeemed by the member who performed the volunteer service for rewards.

  • A maximum of two (2) DHD Rewards are available to each DHD&CT member per membership year & not for the same event.

  • Rewards are disbursed in $50 reward amounts. Rewards are available on a first come first serve basis until the budgeted amount is exhausted.

  • DHD rewards can be claimed for attendance at any educational event that required a paid entry such as clinics, seminars, or individual riding lessons. The educational event may be attended in person or virtually as either a participant or auditor. The educational event does not have to be a DHD&CT sponsored event.

  • Reward recipient must either 1) attend the next regular club meeting after the reward event to report back to the membership on their event experience or 2) within 30 days of the reward event, write a reward report about their event experience and email it to president@dancinghorsedressage.org with “Reward Report” in the subject line.
